A very Happy New Years to all of my fans and followers! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season in 2012.This year I’m planning on changing things up a little bit around here. I want to post more regularly, craft more frequently and become more interactive with my audience. I want to share some tutorials and have draws and giveaways throughout the year!

So I have a plan: 52 weeks of crafts! This means I’m committing myself to completing at least one craft for every week of the year! My restrictions: the items cannot include custom work or items for sale and must be completed and posted by the Saturday of every week!  This means each item is for myself, a friend, family member or even a giveaway. I’m going to try new things, make things I’ve dreamed of making and share with you all the fun and creativity along the way.

I’ve already picked out my project and fabric for this week because it is a short first week! I’ll be using the fabric shown below that I was given for Christmas!

Pretty floral cotton fabric!
New to me this month, I will be using a pattern that I purchased this week! I won’t be sharing which pattern just yet that will be used but I will tell you where it’s from!I Think Sew is a Canadian pattern company that I found recently through Pinterest. Her patterns are very detailed and incredibly reasonably priced. She has a multitude of different patterns but her purses/clutches are what intrigued me most! I purchased 4 different patterns and I downloaded a few freebies as well! So for the month of January these will be the patterns that I will use.

At the end of January I will be hosting a giveaway so be sure to watch for it on my last January post!

So there you have it, my New Years resolution, 52 weeks of crafting! Be sure to stay tuned to see what purse or clutch this fabric turns into!

Happy Crafty New Years!

Aimee
