Trying something new on the blog today! Let’s play along with those fun days other bloggers do like Wordless Wednesday and Throwback Thursday!
This week I decided I would show you how well my products will stand the test of time! The lovely bag below was made in February of 2012, it was my first run at my Bow Bag design and made in gorgeous IKEA fabric. I used this bag a lot and it has been through the wash multiple times (and dryer too although I DO NOT recommend that!) and as you can see, this beauty has lasted me well!
The pink isn’t quite as vibrant anymore and you can see some fading along the creases of the pleats. All in all I am quite pleased with how well this has lasted through the washing and use!
Slightly faded black and pinks
A little wrinkly from the wash but that snap is still shiny as new!

Well used straps with no signs of tear or lost stitches!
Good as new back… even if a little faded!

Another fun Throwback to add is the matching wallet! This guy was made around the same time as the bag and was likely more stuffed than the purse! Again only a little fading from the wash and this still is in great shape!
I’m so happy that this set has lasted not only from overuse but the washer as well! I strongly believe in making quality handmade items and will gladly put them through the worst situations before finalizing the designs!
I hope you enjoyed the first take at Throw Back Thursday! I have another post coming very soon about my newest design. Also have a look at the shop, many of the items have fun new names and the set up is a little better!
Do you have any Little Bird creations that have stood the test of time? I would love to see how well things are lasting!
