It’s the second day of March and 50 days until the Spring Made by Hand Show! Have you gotten your tickets yet? I’ve been cutting out patterns, matching up fabric and buying notions every chance I get! So far I have 29 items cut out, small items but I feel like its a start!

I’m working on some new designs for the show and trying out the rest of the patterns I purchased from I think Sew. This week I thought I would test out the Caroline Clutch pattern. This little clutch is the cutest tiny little thing!

This little clutch measures a whole 6.5 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall! Isn’t it the sweetest little thing!

Lining of little birds outlined in gold!
The top flap and lining are both cotton and the outer fabric is a pink muslin type fabric which turns out to really hold onto wrinkles well! I lined the whole thing in fusible fleece to keep the shape but still be soft and used a large snap rather than a magnetic snap.

I’m hoping these will be a hit! They’d be perfect as a makeup clutch for your purse or to hold random little things. I have 4 more cut out of these little things so I am quite excited to see how the others turn out!

This week I will be finishing up the prize winners custom purse and will be mailing out both winners items! I have a bunch of sewing to do leading up to the show. I am going to try and share many of the items on the blog so people will have an idea of what I will be bringing!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and don’t forget to put me down as your vendor referral when buying your tickets to the show!

Happy Crafting 🙂

Aimee
