Rewind- “Pink Event” for Breast Cancer Awareness

I’m very excited to share this news for October! This month is nationally know as Breast Cancer Awareness month and I have always wanted to do my part, so this year I am! To do my part, I am donating a portion of sales for all PINK items sold to a local organization that helps woman with breast cancer. My Left Breast in Peterborough ON offers mastectomy fittings, mastectomy bathing suits, wigs, scarves, hats to use during chemo therapy. Their team is currently raising money to purchase Post Surgery Camisoles for women who have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and going through lumpectomy or mastectomy. The proceeds I raise during this month will go towards the camisoles they are trying to purchase  They are also collecting gently used bras to be added to the collection that Energy 99.7 is accumulating. All of the bras will be strung around the radio station and OLG Slots at Kawartha will be donating $1 per bra to the Canadian Cancer Society to support breast cancer research. The bras will then be dry cleaned and donated to Seeds of Hope for Women in Honduras. So how am I helping out? 

Well I have set up this page on my website: Breast Cancer Awareness and Support. Every time you purchase a PINK Purse, Bag, Yoga Mat Bag or scarf $5 will be donated. For every PINK Large Wallet or Clutch $2 will be donated and for each PINK Pouch or Small/Business Card Wallet sold, $1 will be donated. Currently there are 7 items listed but I am working on photographing the other 15-20 PINK items I have finished! As always the stamped pouches can be made in infinite numbers, so if you don’t see anything you need, purchase a $5 pouch and help woman in need! If you don’t see a “PINK” item you like, contact me before the end of the month and I can create something for you and still have your donation count!
