Hello to all you lovely people! I am WAY behind on posts lately, but I have good reason! I have been so busy crafting and creating up a storm. I have gotten so many custom orders this past month it has been awesome! A huge thank you to all who have been so great to support handmade, you guys rock! My biggest fans tend to be fellow crafters, they know the time and energy I put into each and every item I make. I have been requested to make many orders for these amazing crafters and I want to share with you just what they have ordered and what they are best at too! Lots of awesome creations lying ahead in this post 😉
One of the first big orders I got was from the amazing Angela from Barking Dogs Salvage and Design. Her work is just incredible and she always amazes me with what she creates out of shutters. This past weekend she participated in a craft event with Parkadilly (more on her soon!) and she created these amazing Canada Day flag shutters! From what I here they were a huge hit, and I can see why, they are amazing! See for yourself:

So what did she order from me? She requested the Alex Messenger bag (which seems to be a huge hit lately!) as well as a wallet set. Now when we got discussing fabric choices, Angela just could not decide which set of colours she liked best. So what’s a girl to do? Order 2 instead, because really, you can never, ever have enough bags! These colour combos are gorgeous and I love them and of course she did too! Check out the awesome shots below that she took of the bags at her place! She has the cutest pets ever!

My next crafty friend is Sara from Parkadilly, she and Angela are good friends and neighbours too! After she saw the photo of the bags I made Angela she wanted one too, she was even going to steal one of Angela’s! The sneaky crafter I am started planning one just for her instead! So here is hers!

Now many of you know just how much I love Sara’s work. She creates the most amazing wire work I have ever seen! Specifically speaking, she created these two just for me! My frame is now hanging in our kitchen above our coat hooks and my birdcage is at our front door! Once we get some photos printed both will be showing off our little family! Aren’t they amazing?!

Sara may just be one of my biggest fans out there! This girl has more of my items than anyone I know (aside from me of course) and I don’t think she will have get enough! She messaged me to create a bag for her to carry her banners and craft show “stuff” to events in and found an older pattern I haven’t used in years. It took a little tweaking and guessing to figure out how I made the last bag (which was at least 4 years ago!) but I got it and it turned out pretty neat I’d say! This bag could work wonders as a diaper bag, tote bag or even a grocery bag! It has a ton of pockets so you can really carry everything in it. Sara loved the crazy patterns of it and so do I!

Another crafty friend I have is Vanessa from Beadness. She makes amazing and colourful chainmaille and beading creations. Quite some time ago she had asked me to make some little pouches to use as liners for her Chainmaille Pop Tab bags she makes. Of course I wanted to be part of something so cool and unique so here is the set I made for her. All are cotton with little straps!

Want to see what she made? These are the coolest things, and the rainbow one is my faves so far and hers too I’d guess too! You can see more of her awesome creations on her website and Facebook page.

See a very crafty post for sure! I love working with and teaming up with other crafters. They are the best forms of advertisement, they carry my bags everywhere! Thank you to each one of you for making my job so exciting and rewarding, you ladies Rock!

I have many more posts to catch you up with what I have been up to, so be sure to stay tuned. Thanks for being such amazing followers, I am one lucky girl!
