PTBO Makes – The Quilter’s Bolt – Part Two
This week on PTBO Makes, I’m taking you on a tour inside The Quilter’s Bolt! This is Kate’s second feature and I can’t wait to show you what’s in store!
The Quilter’s Bolt is a place where people come together over their mutual love of fabrics, to learn, grow, laugh and make new friends. Plentiful colour, patterns and inspiration are the things that greet you at the door.
Inside The Quilter’s Bolt, you will find a collection of fabrics, notions, as well as local artisans and makers. Some of which you just might recognize! From cottons to flannels, Northcott, Dashwoood Studios to Homespun, you’re sure to find the right fabric for your project!

Kate has an abundance of patterns to get you into the swing of quilting or bag making. This Cat Quilt happens to be a fave of mine and I just might have one in the works right now! She has patterns for every skill level and a variety of pieced and paper-pieced to choose from.
These bonnets and headbands from Eva & Dell are always in high demand at the shop!
The collection of makers in her shop happen to feature some of my favourite people! Wiggly Feet provides Kate with all those adorable onesies and handmade shoes!

Notion Nook!
Inside the Notion Nook at The Quilter’s Bolt, you will be able to find just about anything you are looking for. If you take one of my classes, you are sure to visit this nook once or twice for Wonderclips or other little things!
One of my favourite things about the shop set up is the gorgeous Solids and Tonal wall. It’s like a rainbow of happiness and Kate is always bringing in new and exciting colours and patterns!

Classes and Workshops
The Quilters Bolt offers a variety of Classes to take as well. Everything from quilting, raincoats and bag making (with me!) is offered. If you sign up for Kate’s newsletter, you’ll be the first to know about current and upcoming classes! There’s lots of goodies planned for the fall!
No visit to the shop is complete without checking out this display at the front! Kate likes to showcase all the new and exciting arrivals out front. It’s the best spot to find some of the coolest collections!
