Are using Pinterest? Of course you are, that’s quite possibly one of the reasons you are reading this! Now, are you using it for business, not just for personal? If not, you should be! Pinterest might just look like the perfect place to find crafts to do or recipes to make but it can also be excellent for growing your business! Last year I took the Pin-Depth Challenge by Ivorymix and let me tell you, it completely changed not only my views of Pinterest, but greatly increased my blog views!
Pinterest has quickly become my #1 source for people to find my blog! Out of all the ways people read this site, 64% come from pins and repins. That’s huge! It’s like a free and easy way to get your information out there!
Once I changed how I create my Pinterest images (that main post at the top of this post) more and more pins get repinned. No one wants to pin ugly images to their profile! Make them pretty, clear and less cluttered and pinners will be drawn to them!
If you head over to my account, you will see that I don’t just have DIY/Craft boards, but a little bit of everything! My Small Business Planning board gets more repins and follows than any of my boards! People are on there to learn more than just how to make stuff.
If you want to see just what kind of impact Pinterest has had on my blog, check out this infographic.
The Pin-Depth Challenge has been one of the best business courses that I have ever taken. It’s a free course with videos AND a little workbook. It’s easy to follow and fun to see how your business will grow with each little change! If you are a business owner and want a fun way to grow your blog, check it out!
P.S. If you are looking to take your business even farther than simply Pinterest marketing, check out IvoryMix’s new e-course Selfmade Together. It’s a 90 day program to walk you through the steps to make your blog a real business. Hurry though, the doors close tonight at 11:55pm PST. Get in before it’s gone!
