What I’ve Learned Using Pinterest for Business

Are using Pinterest? Of course you are, that’s quite possibly one of the reasons you are reading this! Now, are you using it for business, not just for personal? If not, you should be! Pinterest might just look like the perfect place to find crafts to do or recipes to make but it can also be excellent for growing your business! Last year I took the Pin-Depth Challenge by Ivorymix and let me tell you, it completely changed not only my views of Pinterest, but greatly increased my blog views!
Referrals
Pinterest has quickly become my #1 source for people to find my blog! Out of all the ways people read this site, 64% come from pins and repins. That’s huge! It’s like a free and easy way to get your information out there!
Images
Once I changed how I create my Pinterest images (that main post at the top of this post) more and more pins get repinned. No one wants to pin ugly images to their profile! Make them pretty, clear and less cluttered and pinners will be drawn to them!
Boards
If you head over to my account, you will see that I don’t just have DIY/Craft boards, but a little bit of everything! My Small Business Planning board gets more repins and follows than any of my boards! People are on there to learn more than just how to make stuff.
