Colour In Valentine’s Day Bookmarks
Each year for Valentine’s Day, little man and I get crafty and design something fun for his classmates. Last year we did festive Rice Krispie squares using Alex’s recipe on Yummy Mummy Club. This year we opted for bookmarks because as he gets older, the cheesy cheap valentines seem even cheesier!
Colour In Valentine’s Day Bookmarks
We decided on to make them “Colour in” so his classmates could actually get involved with their Valentines. We all know that most of those cheesy ones get tossed aside anyways. The bookmarks are printed on card stock so that they will last through many uses!
To make them extra special from my little man, we used his drawing of a robot. After converting it to a vector image we uploaded it to Photoshop, added some fun quotes and printed them out. Each one of his classmates got to take home a little piece of his creativity today!
Each bookmark included 1 mini coloured pencil and 1 crayon so they could get a head start on the colouring right away! There is certainly a benefit to having a Crayola outlet close by 😉
Valentine’s Day for kids usually means lots of candy or simple valentines cards so these personal little bookmarks will make them smile. Going through the cards and goodies after school was always my favourite thing to do so I hope these kiddos love it too!
