Happy first week of Spring! I can’t believe March is almost over and summer will be here soon! I’ve been in a little bit of a rut lately but have finally gotten my groove back and have been slowly working away.

This week I put together a donation for a Benefit for a local man that was injured and can no longer work. Next to crafting out of pure love for the craft, my favourite thing about crafting is helping people out and paying it forward. I put this little set together so they could raffle it off!

Packaged up and ready to be raffled!
Thanks to Sara from Parkadilly for the shout out for donations! I truly do love to help out!

Last night I also did a little bit of sewing so I could get all my prizes sent out! I finished up Tara’s prize winning bag from our first blog contest.

As you can see she chose the Alex messenger bag! I’m really quite happy with how this one turned out! The colours were hard to capture so the bag looks much more vibrant in person. I added the addition of two elastic top pockets on the inside as Tara plans to use this as a potential diaper bag! I also used one of the new magnetic snaps I purchased from Emmaline Bags. These snaps are heavy duty and are the best I have used yet!

If you have won a prize from me either from this blog, The CraftStar or another blog, your prize will be sent out this weekend and you should have your prize by the end of next week if not sooner!

Followers and Facebook Likes

I have recently reached over 100 followers on twitter and I am only 2 likes away from 200 onFacebook. I would like to offer you lovely supporters something as a thank you but I want your input first! Which would you all like, a 20%off sale or another giveaway? Let me know either on the blog, Facebook or through twitter which you would like and I will post the results next week!

Thank you all for your wonderful support! It’s you who keeps me crafting along 🙂

Have a safe and happy weekend!

Aimee
