Modern Makers Market Recap

Last weekend, we ventured to the Modern Makers Market for the first time. The last time I tried to go, it ended badly with me falling, alone, over a snowbank so this time, I dragged my husband along! We were BLOWN AWAY with the insane amount of amazing vendors and the turn out at the show. The ladies that run the show are fellow makers so they truly understand what it takes to throw the ultimate craft show and this was no exception! Just look at this line up!
My number one reason for going this time around was to visit Krista from Ellebury. I featured her on PTBO Makes back in March and I am so in love with what she creates! I was so excited to finally meet her and see her creations in person! Aren’t those wreaths just beautiful!

I picked up a little hair clip from her but have started a Christmas list to give to my husband for his future shopping. Can you blame me though?

I also got a chance to visit the ladies from Two Sisters Naturals. My friend and I met them at the Yoga Festival this past summer in town and they are amazing! First of all, major yogis, second, incredible makers! I got some yoga mat spray from them in the summer and let me tell you, it cleans the crap outta your mat! I honestly could not believe how dirty my mat even was! They have some really cool cleaning, bathing and oil products that you just have to check them out!
This time, I picked up their “Clean” Room & Linen Spray. With the snowy wet season coming soon, I wanted something to remove the smell of wet dog in the house. It smells just delicious, though I am a lover of all things eucalyptus!

Another awesome vendor I got to see again was Woodlot Beads. She makes the coolest hand painted wooden creations. The tiniest of earrings to Christmas ornaments. She blew me away with all the teeny little dots she paints on all these wooden beads. Way more patience than I have!

I knew I had to snag a tassel key-chain! What kind of bag maker would I be if I didn’t? I cannot wait to add it to my next creation. It’s so pretty!

Lastly we stopped by Bearded Nomad for my husband. They had the greatest array of beard products I have ever seen. I am super picky about smells that I like so I was so pleased to see many to choose from!

They also had these awesome wooden beard combs, something we have been looking for FOREVER! While wooden seems like a funny thing to get excited about, it doesn’t make his beard static-y or flat! It really was worth every penny!

We saw so many other amazing vendors, friends and makers. Congrats to Sarah and Chantel for throwing an amazing show. If you ever get a chance to, you HAVE to check out the next Modern Makers Market. Until the next show head to their Instagram to see all the previous vendors and get that last minute holiday shopping done before it’s too late!
